DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE
Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2014-2015 Quattroporte and Ghibli vehicles. The affected vehicles have fuel lines that may weep or leak fuel.A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
DESCRIPTION OF COMPONENT
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
RESOLUTION
Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will install a new fuel line, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 28, 2017. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-201-510-2369. Maserati's number for this recall is 339.
