I bought this used 2002 Prius hybrid a year ago, in April 2008, with less than 20,000 miles on it. It gets an average
of 46 mpg in moderate weather, but a little less during the coldest winter months (due to running the heat and defroster
more frequently I suppose.) It's the best gas mileage I've ever had from any car. Like any small car, it sways a bit
during extreme wind conditions. The seat is uncomfortable but overall the car is a nice ride and manuevers well. The
headllights seemed to have a foggy film inside, but my Neon had that too. Aside from that, overall it's aesthically
pleasing. At the 25,000 mile check up (after I had the car 6 months) it required a new cabin air filter and the price
of it was outrageous, in my opinion! I go for my first yearly inspection next month, and we'll see what else needs
then!
