  • "Volvo is now a wholly owned Chinese company, so that may change reliability and satisfaction ratings in the future. My 2006 S60 T5 was bought with 30K miles and now has 135K miles. It's been fairly reliable, I've blown three turbo charge air hoses, which disabled the car, a door handle broke, the remote door lock broke , the headliner is failing, and the exterior rubber trim started disintegration at 90K miles. Both of the switchblade style keys have broken, and they cost several hundred dollars to replace. Performance is good, mileage is fair, and the front sears are very comfortable. The back seat is only usable for children and very small adults. Paint has held up much better than the rubber trim has. The T5 version is a sports sedan but it's not expensive to insure."
