Question: When should I have my timing belt replaced?

My mechanic suggested last time that at 60,000 miles it might be time to replace the timing belt. I can't find any info in my owner's manual as to when this should be done. Help!

The Fit has a chain, not belt. No service required. Keep your oil changed every 6000 miles using only synthetic and that chain will easily last over 200 k!
