Question: what is the problem when there is a tannish colored watery sludge in my radiator reservior
my 1997 mercury mountaineer suv 5.0, V.8 its starts right up runs pretty good but has a tannish sludge in the radiator coolant reservior it overheated just a little the other day i drove it less then 5 miles while getting hot, when i got it home it did overflow from the radiator i turned it off immed. & let it cool on its own it seemed to cool pretty quick i havent drove since or replace any fluids because when i went to i discovered the sludge, please tell me what the problem is & about how much it will cost, thank u signed, deperate owner
