Question: What are the symptoms of a failed crank camshaft position sensor?
My 91 eclipse gs 2.0 non turbo starts and runs normal until I drive it on freeway. When I get off exit it makes a clicking sound from ecu area and check engine light comes on then it stalls. Also there is a stale air smell(like air from a deflated tire) that happens when the clicking starts. If I wait a minute or two the car starts and runs normal. I am completely baffled, any input would be appreciated.
