Question: Problem pumping gas into tank after replacing gas cap
Recently replaced gas cap with OE cap for 2007 Jeep Commander Limited and when I tried to fill tank with gas the gas pump nozzle lever kept tripping as though the tank was full, but it wasn't. After several attempts to remedy the problem (slowing flow, inserting nozzle at different depths in tank) I gave up. When I removed the cap before pumping the gas, there was a loud expulsion of air. Any suggestions what the problem might be? Thanx.
