Question: No Heat Blend Door Problem

My EATC self test indicates a 024, 025 Blend Door Short or Failure. This has been a recurring problem over the past 4 years. Previously the fix has been disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. That has worked everytime until now. Any ideas on how to get around this problem with having to remove the dash or should I just dress really warm between Dec - Feb. AC works sinces the door a stuck in that position so I am okay for 8-9 months out of the year.

was able to shine a flash light up at the part. The wires connected to the part had electrical tape around and I could see exposed wire. I was able to reach the wiring with my hand where the electrical tape is. Squeeze it wiggle it around a bit. After that I could fell the Bleed Door part moving with my hand. So I am now getting heat again. But there is definitely some faulty wiring going to that part so I just hope I can keep it working for 2 more winters years.
