Question: My aztek what start. I put a new battery and starter in it,

My aztek what start. I put a new battery and starter in it, but the aztek still won't turn off. When i turn the key the lights just comes on.

you might try replacing you neutral saftey switch my bonneville did the sam thing and it was that

your auto may require what I call the chicken dance, it 's a push the gas peddle, brake for so many times and in a certain order to set the new part to the computer if this makes any sense. you might call GM dealer and see if they will give you to code or if it's in you manual
