Question: My '67 plymouth fury 3 battery is not holding a charge

I have an '67 Plymouth Fury 3 with a new alternator, voltage regulator, and battery but the alternator is not running with the battery. The belt is running but the car is running just off of the battery so the battery is not able to hold a charge after a drive.

sounds like you have replaced the normal have you checked your wiring and have you checked to see what voltage is going to the battery it needs to have 13 or 14 to charge the battery i think

I have the same problem!!!! My 1967 Plymouth Fury is not keeping a charge. New Alternator, starter, battery post and cables, new voltage regulator, and I have traced all the wires. I charge the battery, drive for a few miles and it goes dead. If i crank the car and disconnect the battery, the car will shut off.
