Question: Loud engine sound at Idle after adding Fuel Injector cleaner??

Good morning ... I am hoping to find some answers & advice on my current car issues as I have invested so much replacing parts & I am the point I feel like the parts are worth more than the actual car. First I will start with this issue... a few months ago I had my water pump which involved the timing belt replaced since then my car has been running rough only in idle... so when I stop at a red light/stop sign it idles really rough & sounds like it wants to stall. I have not contacted the garage that did the repairs because shortly after I had the repairs done I got ill & had to be hospitalized & then spent time recovering so there was really no chance for me to contact & tell them what the car has been doing since they repair on the water pump & timing belt. Its been a few months & my concern is they wont honor their work cause it has been so long?? Even though I have used them for all my auto repairs & have spent a load of $$ in new parts & repairs with them. My most recent issue that has me very concerned is that yesterday I added a bottle of fuel injector cleaner with a full tank of fuel.. approxx 15 min later as I was driving I felt a kind of vibration in the gas pedal & knowing my car so well I could tell something was not right... shortly after feeling that in the gas pedal I stopped at a stop sign & the engine noise was so loud I thought it was going to explode... it almost sounded like it does when the engine over heats & you get that over boil sound from the engine along with loud kind of knocking noise.. I pulled over & popped the hood. Engine is not over heating... my gauges were norm & my gut is telling me because I felt that sensation in the gas pedal it maybe the injector cleaner?? I could kinda pin poin the location of the loud sound in the engine & if you are looking directly at the engine right below where I add my oil in a compartment it seesm to be where the noise is coming from. This maybe be more helpful to know the noise is ONLY present when the car is stopped... as soon as I accelorate the noise ceases & the car drives fine.. as I drove it more the vibration in the gas pedal seems to have stopped from what i can tell but the noise is still very loud when idling / stopped & parked. I would really appreciate any info, help or advice on this because I dont know if I just need to let the fuel run through ?? also why would it rough idel after having the water pump & timing belt replaced?? Would that be a timing issue?? Like I said when I am driving wide open the car runs fine except for a lil hesitation at about 40-45 mph which has always been that way since Ive had the car... It does improve when I change the plugs & wires but never completely goes away. well I know I have written a book & I apologize just trying to give an idea of the history & what has been normal for me/my car & issues that are new & confusing to me... Thanks all for your time & attention & any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated =] Thanx again!!!

It could be a clogged catailyic converter. The cheapest way is to cut it and put a piece of pipe there. But to check try hitting it with a hammer and it's possible it could clear up and knock something loose

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
