Question: I'm perplexed...Why? What? How? Did my braking ability be reduced so drastically?

I love my Dakota! It has it's moments, as do I, and this is one of those moments! Everything has been running awesome. Had front tires changed and tires rotated about 1.5 months ago. Had a flat on passenger rear side, took tire off and taken to service station to be repaired, then remounted tire w/ no noticeable issues at the time but now the brakes seem to be bipolar and have episodes of when they want to work properly and when they want the brake petal to suspend all the way to the floor w/o or lack of stopping capability. We aren't losing or leaking any brake fluid, no holes or leaks determined in the lines. I can't figure out what the problem is, I need help! Please, can anyone help me?
