Question: how do i reset the timing? Have tried multiple times and failed.
drove vehicle to town after changing lower intake gaskets, timing was slightly off but ran fine. Stopped at store,shopped and returned to tahoe and it wouldn't start. Towed it home, removed distributor, reset timing, it acts for just a instant that it wants to start then makes a loud grinding noise. Have been told that that maybe bad timing threw off cam/crankshaft sensor. HELP!!! I can not afford mechanic. need to fix this my self
