Question: How do I reset the service light?

After changing the oil, how do I reset the maintenamce required light?

1. Place the ignition key in position #2. That's the one just befor the starter engages. (My owners manual said position #1, but that didn't work.)

2. Bring up the odometer/mileage reading on the screen, and then scroll until you get the FSS display. (Flexible Service Schedule) That's the one that shows how many miles until the next servicing.

3. Press the "R" (reset button) on the instrument panel for about 2 seconds and release. The display should change to ask you if you want to reset the reading.

4. Press and HOLD the "R" button again until the mileage resets.

Note: Sometimes it won't work if any of the doors are open. Make sure all doors are closed
