Question: Has anyone used an oil analysis service?
I suspect that I may have metal shavings in my oil based on a comment that my mechanic made. Do these services work?

You can have it done through you repair shop, or purchase the sample container and collect it yourself. Seal up the bottle and mail it to the analysis company. Yes, the test are extremely accurate.
