I had the same problem w my 2005 FX 35... my local garage replaced the entire seat "track & motors" for $875...the dealer wanted $1200...the local;mechanic used OEM parts..the only source available.

I undrestand this is a fairly common failure and unforgivable in a premium automobile!!!!!!
