Question: Differential Fluid

My dealer is telling me that I need to have the differential fluid replaced every 15 thousand miles. I can't find that in the service schedule...do I need it this often?

I have 10,000 miles and they told me the same, because the car is 2 years old! How does oil "wear out" if you don't use it?

Independent Honda speciality mechanic just told me to change it along with the transmission fluid at 30,000 miles.

Sounds like a "money maker" for the dealers.

Diff fluid change at 30k same time as auto trans.
