Question: Car has loud 'rubbing' sound when drive at high speeds
Recently had tires rotated and rebalanced. I noticed, at first when driving away from the tire shop, a 'rubbing' sound from front wheels. Took car back, and mechanic said my passenger wheel well flap was loose and rubbing against tire. Mechanic fastened flap and I still hear the sound. Took car back to shop, and mechanic rebalanced front tires. He said front tires still in good condition. Now, sound very noticeable at high speeds - 70-80 mph. What could be the problem?
