Question: 76 280z sarts but won't stay running.

Recently bought it. Drove for a couple days. Went to start it, no go. Replaced fuel filter. Blew 80 psi through line. cleaned off the rather new plugs. Starts, but won't stay running.

most likely your distributor module needs replaced. Try calling your local Nissan dealer, that's what I did. Also check your cold air start valve in your manual. Unconnect it and connect to battery source. You should hear it click, leave it connected to battery and start engine. I have 2 280zx's one an 82 and other 83 which I just got. jwebster39@hotmail.com

'76's did not have a distributor module. Check the fuel system for fuel pressure. When it stalls out do you even have spark? I would guess you probably have a bad fuel tank or pump or maybe a relay. Give our shop Ultimate Z a call 630-837-0700.
