Question: 6MT Subaru wrx, 21,000 miles, car won’t go into reverse
Before I go into more detail, I have already tried moving it into 1st gear before reverse and also pumping the clutch. Neither one made a difference. It doesn’t make any noise went I put it into reverse, but as soon as I start letting out the clutch. I am able to force it to stay in reverse if I put enough pressure on the stick, but I try not to do that unless I really need to. The reverse lights, backup camera, and dash all recognize I’m in reverse.
