1953 Kaiser THE car of the 1950's to own   . . . . .
Of course being a member of the Kaiser Frazer Owner's Club, i have to admit that this review is not unbiased. The 1953
Kaiser represented a pinnacle for the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation. The 226 6-cylinder was the most powerful that it would
get (without a supercharge), the ride was phenomenal due to a very rigid body on a lightweight X-member frame with a low
center of gravity, and the styling is without compare from that time until now with Darrin's signature window and side
dip, moderate amounts of chrome in all the right places, and complemented with Carleton Spencers unique and beautiful
fabrics and vinyls on the inside and gorgeous hues on the outside. If you decide you want to own a car from the 1950's
there is none better than a Kaiser in my opinion, and among Kaisers the '53 model is king.
