The last few time we have been in to get repairs it as been super sketchy. Telling us that something needs to be repaired that was replaced not long ago, saying they fixed things when they never took care of the issue, fixing things without permission from me. Usually happens when a guy named Bill is there instead of the owner Ken. We have been long time customers there, but unfortunately we will be taking out business somewhere else.

Lakewood Auto has always taken care of our car which now has 248,000 miles on it.

I live in Rancho Cordova. I drive 45 mins to get to Lakewood, and have never considered a local repair shop. That said, I was disappointed this time. The first time in the 3 years I've taken my cars to Lakewood.
I made an 8 AM online appointment; the first appoinment of the day. I dropped off my car a few minutes past 8. I returned at 9:28. I made note of the time because by all appearances my car had not been moved.
When I make an appointment and keep an appointment, I expect the business to honor that appointment not just fit me in. It bothers me a lot when a business does not respect my time.

He finished the work in time and at the cost he quoted me.
If I wasn't moving away, I'd recommend them to others here.

Brought me car in to have the battery checked. Turned out I needed a new one. Ken and his team had it all done in under an hour.
