"This is the first Chrysler car I've ever owned and I'm really liking it. I'm coming from a Cadillac CTS, as I needed something larger for the family and with more storage space as even my little 9 year olds knees hit the back of my seat. There are features in the car that Cadillac did not offer in the CTS or even any of their cars in the same era, and just started offering now. And it's ever so much more user-friendly on the Dodge. The stock Alpine sound system is far from the best I've heard, but it's a huge upgrade over the Bose system I came out of as well which had amplified high mids and a lack of low mids and the amplified frequencies changed depending where you put your head as there were 15 speakers all over the car.As for safety, I honestly didn't bother researching the safety on the Charger because I do know that it passed requirements for police, which most cars would fail. Finally, the best feature is the 5.7L v8 which offers plenty of power from 1500RPM. While it's not a fuel efficient car, the mileage is quite good for a v8 and it's worth noting that it gets me significantly better gas mileage than the V6 Cadillac CTS (3.6L DI) I traded in, and is probably 2.5 seconds faster to 60 and has 3-4 times the horsepower below 5000RPM."
