Question: I have a standed shift tranny can the TPS make engine stall and restart in a second ?

Almost every time I start from a dead stop the truck will stall and restart in a second with a big slam also most but not all the time I will get pinging and it will ping when starting a hill , tack says 1200 RPM or more should not ping at this RPM will the TPS sensor do this??????????
